What can you tell me about this character? Ignore the stuff you don't understand.
A thin smile replacing his foolish grin, Gen nodded. He wondered if he should ask about her problems, but reconsidered. It was possible that she would think him too pushy and he would become one of those people he was curious about.
Instead he shook his head in answer to her second statement. “No, not really. I prefer to listen and wait.” He paused for a moment. “Like a hunter.” It was a joke, and his amused face showed as much.
Quite serious now, Gen continued. “Not many people to talk to were I lived.” His tone implied that he would say more only when he felt he was ready. Already he had said to much and would likely bolt if the witch pressed him for further information.

cool. love it. lets see... Gen is a traveler, out looking for something, maybe some kind of hunters? I guess they'd be really "pushy" hunters... so maybe like lords that hunt a lot and terrorize the peasants? i don't know. anyway. the other person's probably a typical female witch, maybe a little prettier than most (i'm sorry tat, but i would not be i if i didn't find a way to tie a little romance into it) and he's kind of attracted to her, but is too busy with his mission, whatever that is, to do anything about the attraction. She's basically just a cut-out character (you know like the cardboard cutouts of movie ad posters or character that they sometimes have in theaters?). basically, what i mean is that she's generic and only there as somtone for him to talk to. if you actually want to make this into a story (and i think it has all the possibilities of becoming a pretty nice one) you're going to need to expand her at least a little. Even if she is just someone he meets and plays no important role in the story, she still needs to have a character, she still needs to respond to how his face constantly changes from goofy smiles to thin pursed lips and back and forth, and how he has this little pause of thinking before talking, and just why she is talking to this complete stranger and even, judging by the first paragraph, talking about some pretty deep stuff. so, why?

Okay. WOW. Actually, it's just a rp about hogwarts if Voldemort had taken over the school. And the reason There's nothing herre about the witch is that I can only control my character.

It was made before the last book came out... and anyway, I don't like the ending so I'm ignoring it.

i would thank you very much not to ignore the ending. it's good. and not at all bloodthirsty like the fifth and sixth book.

More of the same person.
Gen had been sitting in silence on a felled tree, hidden by darkness, and cloaked in silence. It was only the whistling of his knife that reviled his position to any passerby’s. The hand-made lethal weapon was delicately drawing arcs in the air in front of his face. It rose, almost a foot above his hand, flashed twice as it flipped a full circle and landed with a dull thud in the wizard’s hand. Again it rose, and again, always landing with that dull, promising thud. Gen knew what he was playing with, but did not fear it, and thus, it obeyed him.
His cerulean eyes traced the knife’s journey. Something about it’s delicate, beautiful, enchanting, and most defiantly dangerous arc reminded him of the school. But, just as his eyes formed slits, his ears alerted him of a human presence. Silencing his knife, Gen turned. Shifting his weight to his toes, Gen rose. It was fortunate that he had left his cloak behind; here in the close quarters of the Forest of Fobes it would only restrain him.
He waited. A hunter, ready to run, or fight, depending on his enemy. It never occurred to him to take out his wand, or that the approaching creature could be harmless. That’s what a life on the streets will do to you.

love it. it's "revealed", though, not "reviled". sorry, it's just the meanings are so opposite, it's hard not to notice. a couple of quick questions, though: what's cerulean? and why'd he no tpull the wand if he though of danger?

THanks for the spelling, couldn't find it.
Cerulean is a blue. He did, but he's a first year and not really good with magic, but good with a knife.
